Hi! My name is Janet Landwehr and I am the Owner and Hostess of IF YOU GIVE A KID A PARTY! I have been working for almost 30 years with children of all ages. I have taught in a preschool and Christian school setting as well as homeschooled my oldest daughter for 3 years. I love working with children as well as planning creative, hands on events for them.
I started IF YOU GIVE A KID A PARTY because of my passion for children and also for giving them memorable, happy events from their childhood. I also felt there was a need for local parents to have a place to celebrate their children's milestones that was varied, special and memorable.
Currently, I am a Mom to two "flowergals" who are 6 1/2 and 9 (soon to be 10) years old. I am married to a man who I met in church and we have been married for 15 years. I also volunteer on the weekends (and sometimes during the week) at my church, South Telegraph Christian Church, as Program Coordinator.
